1. Information We Collect

Indian Visa Filler PRO may collect and process the following categories of information when the user chooses to use the extension and related services.

  • Account data such as full name, email address, mobile number, role, and account status.
  • Extension auth data such as login token, token expiry time, linked user details, and extension approval state.
  • Workflow data such as saved profiles, hidden profiles, temporary application IDs, profile metadata, and selected service mode.
  • Uploaded user files such as passport images or PDF files when the user explicitly uploads a file for scan or extraction.
  • Usage and billing data such as wallet balance, scan charge statements, upload linking history, and topup requests.
  • Settings data such as autofill preferences, widget visibility, AI provider selection, and other workflow settings saved by the user.
02

2. How We Use Information

We use information only to deliver the core functionality of Indian Visa Filler PRO.

  • Authenticate users and connect the extension with the approved account.
  • Scan passport or PDF files and extract structured information requested by the user.
  • Create reusable profiles and assist with faster form filling on supported visa pages only after the user initiates the workflow.
  • Sync user-specific data between the extension and the connected web dashboard.
  • Show wallet balance, apply scan charges, and maintain statement and topup records.
  • Protect user separation so one standard user cannot see another user's profiles, hidden profiles, or temporary IDs.
03

3. Permissions and Why They Are Used

The extension uses only the permissions needed to support its visa workflow features.

  • storage: Saves settings, auth state, profiles, hidden profiles, temporary IDs, and other user workflow data.
  • sidePanel: Provides a persistent extension workspace for managing profiles and uploads.
  • scripting: Supports form assistance and autofill actions on supported visa application pages.
  • alarms: Refreshes authenticated sync state and keeps user data updated.
  • offscreen: Keeps user-requested passport or PDF scan processing running when the popup closes during OCR.
  • host permissions: Accesses supported visa pages and the project backend only for auth, sync, upload, and related workflow requests.
04

4. Remote Services and Third Parties

The extension may connect to remote services only for data processing requested by the user.

  • The extension communicates with the project backend hosted under the Explorer Air domain for authentication, sync, upload handling, balance checks, and user-specific dashboard data.
  • The extension may connect to supported AI or OCR providers only when the user selects those features for extraction or recognition.
  • The extension does not use remote executable code to run its core interface. Executable extension code is packaged with the extension.
05

5. Data Storage and Retention

Data may be stored locally inside the browser extension and remotely in the connected application database.

  • Local browser storage is used to keep settings, recent workflow data, auth state, and user convenience features.
  • Remote storage is used for account records, profile sync, temp IDs, wallet activity, and related dashboard data.
  • User-scoped records are isolated so standard users can access only their own data.
  • Data may remain stored until removed by the user, deleted by an authorized administrator, or no longer required for service operation.
06

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only when necessary to operate the requested service.

  • Information may be processed by hosting, AI, OCR, or infrastructure services only to complete the function initiated by the user.
  • Master Admin accounts may review broader administrative data in the connected dashboard for service management and approval workflows.
  • Standard users do not receive access to another standard user's profiles, hidden profiles, temporary IDs, or account data.
07

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect stored and transmitted information.

  • Authenticated tokens and user-linked sync state are used to control access.
  • User data is scoped by account ownership in the extension and web dashboard.
  • Access to administrative actions is restricted to authorized master admin roles.
08

8. User Choices

Users can decide whether to upload files, connect services, or continue using the extension.

  • Users may stop using the extension at any time.
  • Users may request deletion or blocking of account access through the service administrator.
  • Users may review and manage synced profile information through the connected dashboard where available.
